Donate Artwork

Invitation to Latvian organizations and individual artists, collectors, and their families:
We invite you to consider donating works of art created by professional Latvian artists who lived and worked outside of Latvia during the second half of the twentieth century, so that such works may be preserved for future generations. Before any more artworks are lost to garage sales, dumpsters, moldy basements and moth-infested attics, please consider the future disposition of such works that may be in your possession. Although a physical facility has not yet been located in Latvia, the work of building the collection has begun, and a number of artists and collectors have already donated artworks to the Global Society for Latvian Art (see The Collection). Art works donated do not necessarily have to be immediately transferred to the organization, unless their well being can only be secured in such a manner.
